Where's the Oil? What was the thing that allowed the lamp to burn, the fire to exist, the light to guide? THE OIL! Jesus was simply saying my oil, isn't for your lamp. As your pastor my oil isn't for your lamp, but should move you to a place of hunger and desire for your own oil. 1. We don't want to wait - Gods gift comes from surrender and hunger. 2. We don't understand it/think we need it you may excuse its value in your life, but Jesus saw it as necessity Are you producing or just boring from others? God isn't looking for a church today that is lacking oil. He's looking for souls on fire with the oil of anointing for the hour at hand!
